Moran-Smith
Charity Nicole Smith of West Brownsville and Robert L. Moran Jr. of Smithfield were married July 20 in a ceremony at Hugo’s Restaurant, Brownsville. The Rev. David Lindberg heard the exchange of vows.
The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Sandra Smith of Monroe Avenue, West Brownsville. The bridegroom is the son of Margaret Lindsey of Smithfield and the late Robert L. Moran Sr.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a satin gown adorned with pearls and lace, long sleeves and cathedral-length train. A crystal tiara held an elbow-length veil of illusion.
Matron of honor was Barb Brosky. Bridesmaids were Colleen Chivitti, Kathy Plotkowski, sister of the bridegroom; Pam Drew, sister of the bridegroom; and Chelsie Plotkowski, niece of the bridegroom. Madison Martini was flower girl.
Best man was George Davis, brother of the bridegroom from Michigan. Ushers were Robert Mervosh; Joseph Plotkowski, brother-in-law of the bridegroom; Patsy Capo, cousin of the bride; D.J. Drew, nephew of the groom; and John Capo, cousin of the bride. Walter Myers IV, great-nephew of the bridegroom, was the ring bearer.
Following a reception at Hugo’s Restaurant, the couple went on a wedding trip to Gettysburg.
The bride is a 1992 graduate of California High School and the bridegroom is a 1984 graduate of Fairchance-Georges High School. Both are employed with Timberline.
