A workshop titled “Preventing Diabetes: You Have the Power” will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 10, and 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, April 29, at the Health First Medical Center on Route 119 near the Fayette County Fairgrounds. To register for the workshop, call Penn State Cooperative Extension Service at 724-438-0111. The phone number was not included in a story about the event that was published in Tuesday’s Herald-Standard.
