Raymond J. “Bud” Blackburn
Raymond J. “Bud” Blackburn, 83, of Kingview Road, Scottdale, Pa., died early Thursday morning, April 3, 2003, in Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant. He was a retired punch operator for Scottdale Machine and Foundry of Everson, with 13 years of service. Previously, he had been employed for Penn Line Service of Scottdale, with 13 years of service, and H.C. Frick Coal Company, U.S. Steel, with 14 years of service.
Bud’s memories will be forever cherished by his loving and devoted wife of 33 years, Angeline Zaffina Blackburn, who he married on Sept. 6, 1969; his brother, Eugene J. Blackburn and his wife, Dorothy of Home, Pa.; his sister, Christine Konieczny and her husband, Chester of Mount Pleasant; and a number of dedicated nieces and nephews.
Bud’s family will greet friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home Inc., 417 West Pittsburgh St., Scottdale, today from noon to 9 p.m., and on Saturday until 10:30 a.m., the hour of service.
