LAUREL HIGHLANDS MUSTANG BAND BOOSTERS will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Laurel Highlands Senior High School. All band parents are urged to attend. WOMEN’S DEMOCRATIC CLUB will meet at 7:30 p.m. today in the American Legion Post 51, North Gallatin Avenue. New members are welcome.
LAYTON CIVIC CENTER will hold a flea market, luncheon and pie sale from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
ST. GEORGE MARONITE CATHOLIC CHURCH, Uniontown, Ladies Guild, will hold a breakfast Sunday following the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. liturgies.
ST. MARY CHURCH, Leckrone, will hold a fish dinner Friday from noon to 6 p.m. Adult dinners are $6; seafood platters, $6.50; children under 10, $3. Children age 3 and younger may eat free. For take-outs, call 724-737-6788.
ST. PROCOPIUS CHURCH, New Salem, will hold a fish dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday in the social hall. Take-outs will be available by calling the hall on Friday at 724-245-9213. Adult meals are $6; children, $3.50.
FAYETTE COUNTY GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY INC. will meet at 1 p.m. Saturday in the meeting room B of the Uniontown Public Library. Members are to note the change in meeting date due to the Easter observance. Public is invited to attend and discuss their interest in family history research.
CALVARY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 34 Clark St., Uniontown, is holding its annual Easter egg sale, coordinated by the Wesley Class. Prices are $4.25 for half-pound eggs and $7.50 for one-pound eggs. Orders may be placed by calling 724-437-6341. Eggs may be picked up Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The eggs will also be sold at the WalMart store from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
TOWER HILL 2 FIRE DEPARTMENT will hold a fish fry Friday at the fire hall, Hopewell Road, Merrittstown, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
