Noel N. Ball Jr., 56, of North Franklin Township, Washington, Pa., died Tuesday, April 8, 2003 in The Donnell House, Washington, Pa. He was born August 8, 1946 in Morgantown, West Virginia, son of Noel N. Ball Sr. of Lake Lynn, Pa., and the late Edith Dunham Ball.

Mr. Ball graduated in 1965 from Albert Gallatin High School in Point Marin, Pa.

He was employed as a Welder by Allegheny Ludlum in Washington, Pa., and had worked for the Mathies Coal Company.

He was a member of Wacom Amateur Radio Club in Washington, Pa., and enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking and flea markets.

On October 12, 1968 in Point Marion, Pa., he married Margaret “Peggy” O’Lear Ball, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters: Christine Ball Webb of West Alexander, Pa., and Melissa Ball of Washington, Pa.; a brother, Robert W. Ball of Massachusetts; and one grandson, Tyler Michael Webb.

Friends will be received in the DALE D. DeANGELO FUNERAL HOME, A Dignity Memorial Affiliate, at 1290 Jefferson Avenue, Washington, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held in the DeANGELO FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, April 12, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Tom Hamilton officiating.

Interment will follow in The Washington Cemetery.
