Viola M. Brink, 92, of Smithfield, Pa., died Monday, April 7, 2003 in Laurel Ridge Nursing Home, Uniontown, Pa. She was born August 2, 1910 in Smithfield, Pa., daughter of Albert S. Brink and Jennie Beeghley Brink.

Her parents, a great great-granddaughter, Megan Pishko, four sisters, Goldie Moore, Ina Jane Temple, Hulda E. Brink, Kathryn Popovich, and three brothers, Wade, Herman and Norman Brink, preceded her in death.

She was the last remaining member of her immediate family.

Surviving are one daughter, Betty Pishko and her husband, Joseph Pishko Jr., of Uniontown, Pa.; one son, Wayne Astolas and his wife, Ann, of Dormont, Pa.; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 12 great great-grandchildren.

The Family will receive Friends in the GOLDSBORO-TOMI FUNERAL HOME, 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today (Thursday, April 10) until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. George W. McLaughlin officiating.

Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.

Visitation was also held Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
