Jane (Sutton) Marano, 88 years, of Fairchance, Pa., died Thursday evening, April 10, 2003 in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. She was born October 11, 1914 in Fairchance, Pa., daughter of Thomas A. Sutton and Hannah Hardin Sutton.

Jane was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Fairchance and the Victory Sunday School Class.

She was predeceased by her husband, James Marano, brothers, Milton Sutton, Richard Sutton, Albert Sutton, Steve Sutton, sisters, Alice Morris, Mary Hickle, Margaret Sutton Hytracek, and parents.

Jane is survived by her loving family: her son, Thomas A. Marano and wife, Phoebe E. Marano, of Hopwood, Pa.; granddaughter, Pamela Jo Marano Cantalamessa and husband, Joby Cantalamessa, of Uniontown, Pa.; three special great grandchildren: Tito Marano Cantalamessa, Job Lyon Cantalamessa, Pittsburgh, Pa., and Elizabeth Boyd Cantalamessa, Manhattan, New York. Also surviving are her brother, William “Enoch” Sutton and wife, Ann, of DuPont Village, Pa.; nieces and nephews; best friend, Evelyn Thompson Rhodes, DuPont Village; and her beloved dog, Rascal.

The Family will receive Friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, April 14, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with Rev. Maggie Foreman officiating.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, North Main Street, Fairchance, PA 15436.

Visitation was also held Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.
