Technology conference slated
The department of applied engineering and technology at California University of Pennsylvania will hold its annual Spring Technology Conference on April 24.
The conference will start in the lobby of the Eberly Science and Technology Center with registration at 8 a.m. A full schedule of events will be provided at the registration, along with a ticket for a free lunch.

Cal U program supports troops
A letter-writing and package campaign to support members of the California University of Pennsylvania community serving in the armed forces is being co-sponsored by the Cal U Veterans Club, the University Chairpersons Forum and the Department of History and Political Science.
Senior history major Erika Patterson is coordinating the program. All university members are invited to send notes, letters, pictures or packages that will be forwarded to those serving in the military.
The forum has donated an initial $150 toward postage costs.
Other departments and individuals are invited to become part of the program.
