Dora Headley Widish
Dora Headley Widish, 82, died Wednesday, April 16, 2003, in Raleigh, N.C., after a prolonged illness. Mrs. Widish was born in Vestaburg, Pa., on January 9, 1921, to the late Ezra Milton and Mary Pollock Headley.
Mrs. Widish grew up in Vestaburg, Pa., and for most of her life, she resided in Pittsburgh, Pa. For the last eight years, she resided in Raleigh, N.C.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Widish in 1964; a sister, Mary Ellen Murphy; and five brothers, James Albert Headley, Thomas Ralph Headley, Frank Headley, Charles Edwin Headley and Ernest Milton Headley.
Survivors include: a daughter, Mrs. Reef C. (Donna K.) Ivey of Raleigh, N.C.; two granddaughters, Remington Catherine Ivey of Raleigh, N.C., and Raines Caroline Ivey of Raleigh, N.C.; a grandson, Reef C. Ivey IV of Raleigh, N.C.; a sister, Margaret H. Cloutman of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters-in-law, Margaret M. Headley and Ann Bachman; and many nieces and nephews.
She will be dearly missed.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m., today, in the JOHN B. GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main St., Beallsville, Pa. A Graveside Service will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, April 19, 2003, in the Taylor Cemetery, Brownsville, Pa. (West Pike Run Township). The Rev. Dr. Kenneth E. Nolin will officiate. There will be no visitation in the funeral home on Saturday.
