Louise A. Brulz
Louise A. Brulz, 82, of McClellandtown, Pa., died Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at 7:30 a.m., at the Horvat Farm, German Township.
She was born in Edenborn, Pa., daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Dusek) Brulz.
She worked in New York, for many years, and for Albert Gallatin Home Care until her retirement.
Louise was a member of Fort Mason Historical Society, Friends of the Library, St. Mary’s Rosary Society, SNPJ Lodge and the Catholic Daughters of America.
She was also a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church of Leckrone, Pa.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Steven Horvat and John Horvat.
Surviving are two brothers, Joseph Horvat of Edenborn, Pa., and Anthony Horvat and wife, Frances of Corry, Pa.; and three sisters, Mary and husband, Stephen Kostyal of Spring Creek, Pa., Frances Minshew of Wallace, N.C., and Ann Horvat, VSC of Pittsburgh, Pa.
Friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, Corner of Church & River Ave., Masontown, Pa., on Monday, April 21, 2003, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Tuesday until 11 a.m., the hour of a prayer service. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Mary’s R.C. Church of Leckrone, Pa., on Tuesday, April 22, 2003, at 11:30 a.m., with the Rev. Fr. Donald Trexler as celebrant. Donations may be made to the German-Masontown Library, 9 South Washington St., Masontown, PA 15401. A Parish Wake Service will be held on Monday at 8:45 p.m.
