Rachel L. Magerko of New Salem and Jason A. Doman of Uniontown were united in marriage. The Rev. James Popochock officiated at the June 29 nuptial Mass in St. Procopius Church.

The bride is the daughter of Carolyn and Frank Magerko Jr. of Ralph-New Salem Road, New Salem. The bridegroom is the son of Lynn and Kenneth Doman of Shirley Lane, Uniontown. He is the grandson of Margret Doman of Uniontown.

Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a white sheath style-dress with sheer overlay of appliqu’s, adorned with crystals and pearls. A tiara held a finger-tip veil with cathedral attachment.

Robin Victor, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Moffatt and Leighann Ligon, cousins of the bride; Rachael Latore sister of the bridegroom; and Tiffany Baughman. Jordan Rupp, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl.

William Rupp, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were Thomas Victor, brother-in-law of the bride; Randell Herbert, cousin of the bride; Kenneth McClelland; Anthony Latore, brother-in-law of the bridegroom. Junior usher was Bryce Rupp, nephew of the bridegroom. Thomas Victor Jr., nephew of the bride was ring bearer.

A reception was held at the Uniontown Firemen’s Social Hall.

The bride graduated from Uniontown Area High School and is a 2000 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania and is pursuing a master’s degree. She is a special education teacher at Fayette Vocational-Technical School.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Tri-Valley High School and a 2002 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania. He is employed as a substitute teacher.

The couple honeymooned in Alaska. They reside in New Salem.
