Margroff-Holchin

United in marriage were Jennifer Holchin of Dunbar and Jubal Margroff of Confluence. The Rev. James Fogg officiated the wedding ceremony on Aug. 31 at Asbury United Methodist Church, Uniontown.

Parents of the bride are Richard and Debora Holchin of Bitner Road, Dunbar. The bridegroom is the son of Jack and Linda Margroff of Mae West Road, Confluence.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white satin gown with V-neckline, formed-fitted bodice with satin covered with lace and pearls, bustle with satin roses and cathedral-length train accented in pearls and rose appliqu’s. A pearl headpiece held a finger-tip veil of illusion.

Lori Headley, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kahla Daniels, Hara Holchin, cousin of the bride; Nicole Franks, Joyce Mounayar and Staci Braun, sister-in-law of the bride. Deidre Margroff, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl.

Neal Margroff, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Tim Margroff, brother of the bridegroom; Rich Holchin and Joe Holchin, brothers of the bride; Steve Rosenburger and Gary Humbert. Landen Higinbotham, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.

Reception was held at the Smock Social Hall, Smock.

The bride graduated in 2000 from Uniontown Area High School and is attending the Fayette County Area Vocational-Technical School’s licensed practical nursing program.

The bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Uniontown Area High School and is an electrician with Maccabee Industry.

The couple honeymooned in Wildwood, N.J. They reside on Main Street, Republic.
