Joyce Ann Semzock Albert, age 52, of Uniontown, Pa., died peacefully at home on Friday, April 18, 2003 with her husband by her side. She was born November 28, 1950 in Pitcarin, Pa., daughter of Ben Semzock of Connellsville, Pa., and the late Anna Mae Bowlin Semzock.

Joyce was a member of St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, and graduated from Connellsville Area High School.

She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Penn State University and a Master of Science Degree from California University of Pennsylvania.

Joyce has worked at St. John The Evangelist School for 20 years as an All-Day Kindergarten Teacher.

She was also very active as a volunteer at Mount Saint Macrina in Uniontown.

In addition to her father she is survived by her husband, Harry E. Albert; one stepson, Brady P. Albert of Millvale, Pa.; one step daughter, Erin R. Albert of Robinson Township, Pa.; one brother, Kevin Semzock of Connellsville, Pa.; and three sisters: Barbara Foley and Marsha Forrest both of Nashua, New Hampshire, and Jacqueline Conn of Wurzburg, Germany.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, in Trinity United Presbyterian Church, Morgantown Street at West Fayette Street, Uniontown, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. The Service will begin at 11 a.m. with Dr. John K. Sharp officiating.

Friends may call at the Funeral Home to visit with the Family on Monday afternoon from 3 to 5 p.m. and in the evening from 7 to 9 p.m.

On Tuesday, April 22, a Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 9 a.m. in St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Jefferson Street, Uniontown, with Rev. Fr. William J. Kiel as Celebrant.

Private interment will be in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville, Pa.
