Mary Fite McCoy
Mary F. (Fite) McCoy, 88, of Connellsville, Pa., passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, April 19, 2003 at her home. She was born April 9, 1915 in Pennsville, Pa., daughter of Robert Fite and Nancy Crossen Fite.
Mrs. McCoy graduated from the former Scottdale High School.
Mary was formerly employed by West Penn Power Company for many years.
She was a member of The Order of The Eastern Star.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Ray McCoy Jr. in 1993, granddaughter, Leslie D. Quairiere, R.N., and parents.
She is survived by four children: Judy McCoy of Florence, South Carolina, Linda Quairiere and her husband, Barry, of Dubois, Pa., Patricia LaPresta and her husband, Joseph, of Uniontown, Pa., and Robert McCoy and his wife, Vickie, of Connellsville, Pa.; nine grandchildren: Melissa Hughes, Melinda Thomas, Robert Hyatt, Staff Sgt. Stephen Quairiere, Brian Todd Quairiere, Kristen Dawn Frey, Nicole Marie LaPresta, Danielle Paige LaPresta, and Zachary McCoy; five great grandchildren: Stephani Quairiere, Riley Quairiere, Mason Hughes, Brooklyn Thomas and Isaac Quairiere; one brother, Robert Fite and his wife, Leola, of Conway, South Carolina; and one sister, Ruth Klingensmith of Richmond, Virginia.
Friends will be received in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 East Green Street, Connellsville, Pa., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where Services will be held Wednesday, April 23, at 11 a.m. with Pastor John LaVale officiating.
Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville, Pa.
