Nellie Mae Dunham Clinton Moody, 74, of White House, Smithfield, Pa., died Saturday, April 19, 2003 at her residence. She was born February 19, 1929 in Springhill Township, Fayette County, Pa., daughter of William Ray Dunham and Sara May McLaughlin Dunham.

Nellie graduated from Penn State University Fayette Campus and was formerly employed as a Teacher’s Aide at A. L. Wilson Elementary School in Fairchance for many years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Fuller Moody, sister, Betty Heltebran, son-in-law, Al Simmons, and parents.

Surviving are her children: Mary Clinton Hartman and husband, J. D. Hartman, Smithfield, Pa., Melody Simmons, Smithfield, Pa., and Barbara Clinton Jones of Maryland; grandchildren: Randy Wheeler, Traci Beeson, Jeffrey Hartman and Justin Hartman; and two sisters: Sara Brady, Perryopolis, Pa., and Rosalie Fike, Mechanicsburg, Pa.

The Family will receive Friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., this evening from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, April 23, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with Rev. George W. McLaughlin officiating.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
