Joseph Eugene “Gene” Petruska
Joseph Eugene “Gene” Petruska, 63, of Uniontown, Pa., died Saturday, April 19, 2003 at his residence. He was born July 8, 1939 in Uniontown.
Mr. Petruska was a welder by occupation, formerly employed by Baco Mechanical, Clays Weldings and Shapiro and Duncan, a veteran of the United States Army 1960-1963, a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church and Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 828.
Preceding him in death were his father Joseph Petruska and his wife Patricia Jean Kohrman Petruska.
Surviving are his mother Ann E. Frankenberry Petruska of Uniontown; three sons, David Eugene Petruska of Waverly, Va., Robert Allen Petruska and his wife Beth Ann of Alexandria, Va., and Brian Keith Petruska and his wife Sharon of Winchester, Va.; five grandchildren and a sister Shirley J. Savage and her husband Raymond of Uniontown.
Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday until 11 a.m., the hour of service.
Interment will follow in Park Place Cemetery.
