State police said a 16-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy were cited for shooting a BB gun at the home of Michelle L. Williams of Uniontown Monday at 11:10 p.m.

Hit-and-run probed
State police said an unknown tractor-trailer driver struck a metal pole in the parking lot of Midas Auto Service Experts at 8:20 a.m. Monday and fled the scene.

Two charged
State police said Marko Demaske, 40, and Buddy A. Watters, 29, both of Jefferson, were charged with public drunkenness after police observed them under the influence of alcohol at Jefferson Market at 4:50 p.m. Monday.
South Connellsville
Charges filed
A South Connellsville man remains in Fayette County Prison for allegedly removing cash and other items from a borough restaurant.
John F. Kimmell, 52, of 1400 Race St. was arraigned before District Justice Ronald Haggerty on charges of theft by unlawful taking in connection with the April 9 incident and lodged in the county facility after failing to post the $10,000 percentage bond.
He faces a May 1 preliminary hearing in the matter.
According to police, Kimmell entered Bigham’s Wings and Things and placed a food order. When he departed the restaurant, it was discovered that a gray money bag and its contents, including $593 in cash, was missing. Police later recovered the bag, a checkbook and other documents, but were unable to determine the whereabouts of the cash.

Purse stolen
Kathie Lynn Olson, 25, of Scottdale told state police Tuesday that someone stole her blue nylon purse containing $200 in cash from her unlocked vehicle while parked on Regina Street.

Man cited
Brandon Crossland, 19, of Uniontown was cited for criminal mischief Tuesday for allegedly damaging a lawn ornament at a residence on Ferguson Road.

One-vehicle crash
State police are investigating a one-vehicle crash Saturday at 2:47 a.m. along Walnut Hill Road. Police said the operator of a white 1986 Ford Bronco II lost control of the vehicle and struck a utility police and then fled the scene.

State police said someone stole gas from the Sweet Pea’s at routes 21 and 166 Tuesday at 8:28 p.m.

Insulin found
Perryopolis police said a lunch box containing insulin was found at the Auto Auction on Pittsburgh Road Tuesday at 6:20 p.m. Anyone wishing to claim it should call the police department at 724-736-0700.

John George Brodak of Carmichaels told police Sunday that someone shot paintballs and Brodak’s Plaza on Route 21.

Vandalism
A 74-year-old Uniontown woman told police that someone stole the flowers from her door sometime between April 18 and 20.

Gasoline stolen
Police said someone pumped $27.32 worth of gasoline into a newer model silver Dodge Caravan April 19 at about 12:04 p.m. at the Texaco Food Mart in Brownsville and left without paying.
Lemont Furnace
Theft
State police are investigating the theft of check from the residence of Adam Marilungo, 66, of Lemont Furnace on April 10 between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Police said they are looking at two juveniles who are suspected of forging the victim’s name on the check and cashing it.

CD player taken
William A. Nicholson, 22, of Uniontown told police that someone took the CD player out of his 1997 Saturn sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday and damaged the dashboard of his vehicle.

Walk America
Police Chief Kyle W. Sneddon wants to remind everyone that Walk America will take place Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. at City Hall on Gallatin and Penn Avenue. Sneddon said residents who do not want to get caught in traffic should use alternative routes. He also said motorists should use caution while driving in the area.
Sneddon said Children and Youth Services of Fayette County would also hold a march against domestic violence Friday at the county courthouse beginning at 10 a.m.

Christine Keffer of 26 Farragut St. reported that she was being harassed Wednesday by someone known to her.

Charges filed
City police said several charges were filed against Marchall Shankle Jr., 33, of P.O. Box 223, Martin Road, Hopwood, Wednesday after they found him behind the wheel of a vehicle with an open container of alcohol on Austin Street near Collins Avenue.
Police said Shankle was charged with two suspended or revoked driver’s license violations, an unlicensed driver violation and a registration violation in addition to the open container violation.

Tapes stolen
Paul Johnson Jr. of 91 Walnut St. Apartment 3, told police that someone entered his apartment Wednesday at about 1:55 a.m. and took 10 Sega tapes.

SPCA called
SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals) officials were called Tuesday at 4:20 p.m. to Keystone Street to remove a brown pit bull running loose.

Police said two women’s bicycles were found at the bottom of Wood Street Tuesday. Anyone wishing to claim the bikes can do so at the police station.

Train cars damaged
Al Bluman of Irwin and Joe Baran of Dunbar, owners of several railroad cars parked on Pittsburgh Street, told police that the windows were broken out of three passenger cars Tuesday.
The owners also told police that tools were scattered throughout the cars and two sleeper seats were missing.
State police at Uniontown were brought in to fingerprint the passenger cars, according to police.
