Daralou E. Jenkins Palo, 64, of Fairchance, Pa., affectionately known to all as “Mom”, died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at her residence. She was born Dec. 5, 1938, in Rubles Mill, Pa., daughter of the late Kenneth H. Jenkins and Mary Ellen Maloney Jenkins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Billy Jim Jenkins and George “Buddy” Jenkins; a son, Kevin Hilary Palo; and a grandson, Christopher James Kaputa.

She was the owner of the Goal Post in Fairchance for the past 11 years.

Surviving are her husband, James Albert Palo; the following children, Barbara Y. Kaputa and companion, Ed Thompson, Ronald J. Palo and wife, Shannon, Timothy D. Palo and wife, Saundra, Michael A. Palo, Cheryl A. Fraij and companion, Paul Miller, Denene C. Weimer and husband, Warren Weimer, Jenean Delorenzo and daughter-in-law, Candy Palo; grandchildren, Adam J. Kaputa, Corey Palo, Colby Palo, Kelly Palo, Ronald Palo Jr., Ricky Palo, Jennifer Palo, Kevin Hilary Palo, Cesara Palo, Amanda Palo, David Savage and Neneen Savage and Britney and Brett Pechatsko and granddaughter-in-law Dawn Uras; and great-grandchildren, Seth Michael Kaputa, Myckayla Palo and William Young.

The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church St., Fairchance, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday, April 26, 2003, until 10 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Ken Walls officiating. Interment in Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.
