Garcia-Biskup
United in marriage on Oct. 12 were Teri Lynn Biskup of Masontown and Nicholas S. Garcia of Point Marion. The nuptial ceremony was performed at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Masontown. The Rev. James Bump officiated.
The bride is the daughter of John and Linda Biskup of Park Avenue, Masontown. The bridegroom is the son of Nicky and Jackie Garcia of Freeling Street, Point Marion.
The bride, escorted to the altar by her father, wore a gown of white Italian matte satin with sweetheart neckline, Basque waistline, full skirt with cathedral train, all adorned with beads and sequined Alencon lace. A tiara held a fingertip veil with detachable cathedral veil.
Stacey Swaney of Dilliner and Jessica Grasha of Washington were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Garcia, cousin of the bridegroom, Morgantown, W.Va.; Melaney Coller, Mount Pleasant; Krissy Brioli, Philadelphia; April Kennedy, cousin of the bride, Masontown; and Ellie Valente, Brownsville. Junior bridesmaids were Amanda Biskup and Ashley Biskup, nieces of the bride. Maya DiCarlo, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl.
Best man was Jay Biskup, brother of the bride. Ushers were Scott Clark, Masontown; Billy Spatafore, Fairmont, W.Va.; Jeff Palluzi, Philadelphia; Patrick Geelan, Emporium, cousin of the bride; Jim Belan, Point Marion. Ian DiCarlo, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.
A reception was held at the Hopwood Firemen’s Social Hall.
The bride graduated in 1996 from Albert Gallatin High School and in 1998 from Waynesburg College.
The bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School and a 2002 graduate of West Virginia University. He is a planning engineer with Allegheny Power.
They honeymooned at Walt Disney World and on a Disney cruise. They are living at 201 Penn Ave., Masontown.
