Helen Irene (Steve) Reichert, age 85, of 14 Emerson Street, Uniontown, PA 15401 died at 2:10 a.m. Friday, April 25, 2003 in her home. She was born October 10, 1917 in Valley Furnace, West Virginia, daughter of George Steve and Susana Koneval Steve.

Helen was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown and had been a Banquet Manager for restaurants in Miami, Florida.

Helen was a devoted Mother and devout Catholic whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her!

Her husband, Philip Reichert, died May 28, 1988.

Also deceased are a son, Christopher Reichert (1995), and her parents.

She is survived by two daughters: Karen Reichert Brozik, wife of Stan Brozik, of Dilliner, Pa., and Phyllis Reichert of Uniontown, Pa.; a brother, Michael Steve and his wife, Lucille, of Smithfield, Pa.; two sisters: Mildred Steve Sutton of Smithfield, Pa., and Betty Steve Borochoff of Tulsa, Oklahoma; many devoted nieces and nephews.

The Family will receive Friends at the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, Corner of Church on 7 River Avenue, Masontown, PA 15461 today (Monday, April 28) until 9 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.

A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 9:30 a.m. St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Old Walnut Hill Road, Uniontown, with Rev. Fr. Alexander J. Pleban as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa.

Donations to Albert Gallatin Hospice, 20 Highland Park Drive, Uniontown, PA 15401.

Visitation was also held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

The Ministry of Consolation will meet at the Funeral Home for a Service on Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
