Joanna L. Casciotta Grant
Joanna L. Casciotta Grant, age 89, of Uniontown, Pa., known to those that loved her as “Aunt Lena”, died Saturday morning, April 26, 2003 in LaFayette Manor, Uniontown.
She was born December 30, 1913, in Clairton, Pa., daughter of Joseph Casciotta and Joanna Lalvieus Casciotta.
Joanna was a member of St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown.
Her beloved husband, James G. Grant, passed away April 6, 2002. Also deceased are her sister, Angela Comfort, and parents.
She is survived by her loving sister, Nancy Manotti of Ohio; nephews and nieces: Joseph Zack and wife, Yoshiko, of Atwater, California, Dan Zack and wife, Marjorie, of Uniontown, Joe Guarano and wife, Judy, of Lancaster, Pa., and Nancy Hixenbaugh and husband of Newton Falls, Ohio; several great nieces and great nephews; and her sister-in-law, Frances Zack of Uniontown.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, Pa., today (Tuesday, April 29) until 9 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 9:30 a.m. in St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Mill Street.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
Visitation was also held Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
