Richard A. Crable
Richard A. Crable, age 54, of Phillips, Uniontown, Pa., died unexpectedly Sunday, April 27, 2003 in Uniontown Hospital.
He was born January 23, 1949 in Uniontown, Pa., son of Walter Crable and Kathleen Schultz Crable.
Richard was a member of St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, graduated from Laurel Highlands High School in 1966, and was a Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict who served in the United States Army.
He was employed by O. C. Cluss Lumber Company in Uniontown and was a member of Teamsters Union Local 491 where he served as a Trustee on the Board and as a Shop Steward.
His parents and his father-in-law, Roy Alicastro, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Anita Alicastro Crable; one daughter, Tracie M. Crable and her fianc?, John Robison, of Republic, Pa.; a granddaughter, Stephanie Marie Robison, whom he loved and cherished dearly; his mother-in-law, Angeline Volpe Alicastro of Uniontown; two sisters: Carol Crable Leydig of Uniontown, Pa., and Anita Crable Tamburri and husband, Dr. Richard J. Tamburri, of Hopwood, Pa.; three brothers: Walter Crable of Virginia, Wayne Crable of Uniontown, Pa., and Dale Crable of Virginia; a sister-in-law, Bonita Alicastro of Uniontown; a brother-in-law, Robert Alicastro and wife, Suzanne, of Uniontown; a special aunt and uncle, Shirley and Carl Schultz of Hellertown, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, April 30, until 9 a.m. at which time a Blessing Service will be held.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 9:30 a.m. in St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Mill Street, with Rev. Fr. Kenneth G. Zaccagnini, V. F., as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.
Visitation was also held Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
