Timothy Joseph Check
Timothy Joseph Check, 44, of Clarksville, Maryland, and formerly of Connellsville, Pa., died Saturday, April 26, 2003 in The University of Maryland Hospital.
He was born June 22, 1958 in Connellsville, Pa., son of the now late Joseph F. Check and Rita Mae Virgile Check.
“Tim” graduated from Geibel Catholic High School in Connellsville with the Class of 1976.
He received his Bachelors Degree in Marketing from Penn State University in 1980.
Tim and his family have resided in Clarksville, Maryland, since 1998. He worked as a Salesman of Construction Tools for Hilti Inc.
Tim was a member of St. Louis Roman Catholic Church in Clarksville, Maryland, and was a former member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Connellsville.
Tim is survived by his loving family: his wife, Sandra Marie Fitzsimmons Check; his two sons: Jeremy Michael Check and Nathanial Joseph Check both loving at home; and his two sisters: Patricia Ann Check Altman and her husband, Mark Altman, of Uniontown, Pa., and Marijo Check Fischer and her husband, Todd Fischer, of Fort Wright, Kentucky.
Family and Friends will be received in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 East Green Street, Connellsville, Pa., on Wednesday, April 30, from 6 to 9 p.m. where a Blessing Service will be held Thursday, May 1, at 9:30 a.m.
A Funeral Mass follows at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville, with Rev. Fr. Terry A. Hercik as Celebrant.
A Committal Service and interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville, Pa.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions be made to the Leukemia Society in memory of Timothy Joseph Check.
A Wake Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 8:45 p.m.
