Uniontown Hospital to hold fund-raiser
The Uniontown Hospital Auxiliary will sponsor its seventh annual “Basket Bonanza” fund-raiser. Beginning this week, 13 gift baskets will be on display in the hospital’s main lobby until the raffle drawing, which will be held at noon Friday, May 9. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $1 each or three for $2. Tickets will be sold in the lobby from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. now through Thursday, May 8, and 8 a.m. through noon Friday, May 9.
The “Basket Bonanza” themes are Uniontown Hospital administration, Mother’s Day; Fayette Home Care, Fun in the Sun; Uniontown Hospital Auxiliary, Lottery Plus; Comfort Keepers, Picture Perfect; Medical Records, Spring Fever; Surgical Suite/Anesthesia, Gardening; Emergency Services, Bids; Intensive Care Unit, Angels Among Us; Physical Rehabilitation, America Is; Diagnostic Imaging, baby stuff; Environmental Services, Spring Cleaning; Boston Beanery, Country Candles; Nutrition Services, Children.
All proceeds from the event will be used to support patient care services at the hospital. Co-chairmen for this event are Nancy Soom and Ann Hoppe. Committee members include Alberta Collingwood, Ruth Coughenour, Mary Fornili, Theresa Gentilcore, Patricia Speshock and Betty Walls.
