Viola R. Orelli Antonucci of Brownsville, Pa., passed away on Monday, April 28, 2003 in St. Clair Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., daughter of Angelo Orelli and Jennie Valerio Orelli.

Mrs. Antonucci was a member of The Historic Church of St. Peter in Brownsville, Pa., St. Peter’s Christian Mothers, The Sons of Italy and Rosa Garabaldi Lodge No. 1818.

Two brothers, Salvatore and Rinaldo Orelli, one sister, Marianna Stefek, and parents preceded her in death.

Mrs. Antonucci was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lino D. Antonucci; one daughter, Cynthia L. Illar and her husband James, two grandsons, Jarod Illar and Derek Illar, special niece, Dolores and her husband James Boone, and special great niece, Diane and her husband David Beregi, all of Brownsville, Pa.; also numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The St. Peter’s Christian Mothers will recite the Rosary today at 3 p.m. The Rosa Garabaldi Lodge No. 1818 will conduct services today at 3:15 p.m. The Sons of Italy, Brownsville Lodge will hold services today at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be private for the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made in Mrs. Antonucci’s name to Intermediate Unit 1 – LEAP Pre-School Autistic Classroom (California, Pa.), c/o Debra Sestelli, One Intermediate Unit Drive, Coal Center, PA 15423.
