Robert William Ruffner, 70, of Farmington, Pa., passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2003 in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born August 9, 1932 in Blairsville, Pa., son of Robert Reed Ruffner and Matilda Rebecca Butts Ruffner.

Robert was member of Glad Tidings Church in Masontown.

He enjoyed fishing and also his CB system.

A sister, Margaret Poole, a brother, John Ruffner, and parents preceded him in death.

He is survived by a brother, David Ruffner of Largo, Florida; nieces and nephew: Loretta Poole and Family of Uniontown, Pa., Rachel Isler and Family of Bobtown, Pa., Cynthia Hall and Family of Farmington, Pa., Richard Poole and Family of East Millsboro, Pa., and Melissa Slivka and family of West Virginia.

Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC. AT SYLVAN HEIGHTS CEMETERY, A Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, August 4, until 11 a.m. when a Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.
