Mr. and Mrs. Michael Cabot of Uniontown announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Amy Lynn Cabot, to Thomas Harrison Pfarr, son of Tom Pfarr and Darla Pfarr of Uniontown. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Sue Baran of Leith.

She is a 1998 graduate of Geibel High School and graduated from West Virginia University with a master’s degree in elementary education. She is currently employed with the Monongalia County School Board in Morgantown, W.Va.

Her fiance is a 1998 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and attends West Virginia University as a cadet in the Army ROTC program. He will earn a bachelor of science degree in history and will be commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant upon graduation in December.

The marriage will take place on Oct. 11, at the Whyel Chapel at Jumonville.
