Genevieve “Effie” Lemonovich Vihlidal, 91, of Richeyville, Pa., died Sunday, August 3, 2003 at 4:45 a.m. in St. Barnabas Home, Gibsonia, Pa. She was born October 7, 1911 in Daisytown, Pa., daughter of Julius and Cecelia Lemonovich.

Mrs. Vihlidal was a member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church in Richeyville and also St. Agnes Ladies Guild.

Her husband, Victor Vihlidal, died July 21, 1965.

Also deceased are two sisters, Stella Rodgers and Wanda Yablonski, four brothers, Stanley Lemonovich, Frank Lemonovich, John Lemonovich, Alex Lemonovich, and her parents.

Surviving are one daughter, Genevieve Vihlidal Sonson, and son-in-law, Charles Sonson; six beloved Grandchildren: Charles Sonson, Catherine Sawchuck, Regina Kelly, Mary Williams, Karen Osheka, David Sonson; 11 Great Grandchildren; her sisters: Anna Kurianovicz and Adella Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the JOHN B. GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, Pa., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where Prayers will be said Wednesday, August 6, at 9:30 a.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Richeyville, Pa.

Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
