George W. Sheridan
George W. Sheridan, 82, of Brownsville, Pa., died Saturday, August 2, 2003 in the home of his son, Sean. Born November 8, 1920 in Brownsville, Pa., he was the son of Bernard Sheridan and Pricilla Wyle Sheridan.
He was a member of the Brownsville Optimist Club, Veteran of World War II, member of American Legion Post 295, and a retired Mail Carrier.
His wife, Lois R. “Sue” Sutton Sheridan, brother, Bernard, sister, Catherine, and parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by three sons: Kevin R. Sheridan and wife Diane, Brownsville, Pa., Brian J. Sheridan and wife Melissa, Brownsville, Pa., and Sean D. Sheridan and wife Shirley, Uniontown, Pa.; four Grandchildren: Jennifer Sheridan, Raelene Sheridan, Noah Muccino, Raymond James Sheridan; and a Great Grandson, Sean Askey.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 5, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Paul Wilson officiating.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
