Howard “Blair” Watson, 71, of Prosperity (Ruff Creek), died Sunday, August 10, 2003 in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. Mr. Watson retired in 1971 from the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War and Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 954 of Jefferson.

He was a member of Jefferson Presbyterian Church and was a Greene County Deputy Sheriff and a Corrections Officer at the Greene County Prison.

He is survived by his wife Kyung Youn; three brothers James Watson of Waynesburg, Albert Watson of Waynesburg and George Watson of Clarksville and a sister Virginia Bates Forman of Clarksville.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, Supervisor, where services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m.
