Mary Jane Fields, 84, of Buffalo, New York, formerly of Perryopolis, Pa., died Saturday, August 9, 2003. She was born December 12, 1918 in Perryopolis, Pa., daughter of the late Louis and Jane Delano Chaw.

Mary Jane was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Michael (Barbara) Kurutz of Amherst, New York; six grandchildren; two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Elizabeth Maud of Cleveland, Ohio, Ms. Ann Chaw of Perryopolis and Ernest Chaw of Brunswick, Ohio.

Friends will be received in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis, today from 7 to 9 p.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Father John T. Euker as Celebrant.

Interment to follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Perryopolis.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Perryopolis, Pa., 15473.

A Wake Service will be held this evening at 8 p.m.
