Beatrice “Bea” Louise Leichliter Roderick, 66, of Woodbridge, Smithfield, Pa., passed away to the angels to be with our Lord on Thursday, August 14, 2003 with her family by her side. She was born January 6, 1937 in Connellsville, Pa., daughter of Robert Alonzo Leichliter of Uniontown, Pa., and the late Beatrice Louise Young Leichliter.

“Bea” was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ where she was a devoted Sunday School Teacher for many years.

She was previously employed at Rockwell International in Uniontown, Pa., and later at Albert Gallatin Area High Schools as a part-time caf? worker.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 46 years, Irven L. Roderick; children: Harry I. Roderick and wife, Lisa, of Cabot, Arizona, Robbie A. Roderick and wife, Brenda, of Haydentown, Pa., and Alma L. Maceiko and husband, Mark, of Uniontown, Pa.; five grandchildren: Laura, Robbie Jr., Ryan, Amber and Christian: two brothers: Charles Leichliter and wife, Beverly, of Rochester, New York, and Gerald Leichliter of Uniontown, Pa.; and numerous other family and friends, all of who loved her dearly.

The Family will receive Friends at the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Additional viewing will be held in Oak Grove Church of Christ, Route 119, Morris Crossroads, Lake Lynn, Pa., on Monday, August 18, from 9 to 11 a.m. Services will begin at 11 a.m. with Evangelist Brian Young officiating.

Interment will follow in Pleasant View I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.
