Fran Stultz Rockwell
Fran Stultz Rockwell, 83, formerly of Luther Meadows, Gibsonburg, Ohio, died early Friday morning August 15, 2003 in Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green, Ohio. She was born on December 4, 1919 to William and Katherine Stultz in Smock, Pennsylvania.
Fran graduated from the former Redstone Township High School in Republic, Pa.
She worked and retired as a Seamstress who made custom drapes for Sears in Cleveland, Ohio.
She enjoyed crafts, sewing and quilting.
On December 7, 1938 she married Bert W. Rockwell in Pennsylvania. He died May 5, 1983.
Also deceased are a son, Allen Rockwell, brothers, Jack, Larry and Lou Stultz, sisters, Anna Roberts, Katherine Garfolo, Josephine Hauptman, and parents.
Surviving are her children: Judith Bryan of Phoenix, Arizona, Bert Rockwell of Cleveland, Ohio, and Lou Nitkiewicz of Fremont, Ohio; sisters: Marie Evans of Rochester, New York, and Dorothy Burns of Poland, Ohio; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held at the HERMAN-KINN-VEH FUNERAL HOME, 319 West Madison Street, Gibsonburg, OH 43431 (419-637-2026) on Saturday, August 16, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Sylvan Heights Cemetery, 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pennsylvania, on Monday, August 18, beginning at 11 a.m. Rev. Fr. Micah Kozoil, Pastor of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown, Pa., will officiate.
