Harry Winterhalter, 81, who was born in Republic, Pa., graduated in 1939 from the former Redstone Township High School, and spent most of his life in Oakland and Hayward, California, died Friday, August 1, 2003 in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. He is survived by three children: Tom Winterhalter and wife, Didra, of San Lorenzo, California, Terry Winterhalter Marshall and husband, Roy Marshall, of Midland, Texas, Linda Winterhalter Field of Chowchilla, California; grandchildren: Pam Marshall, Tracey Marshall, Tiffany Marshall, Brett Marshall, Garrett Marshall, Matthew Field, Elizabeth Field, Sarah Field; four great grandchildren; sisters: Grace Winterhalter Amaral and her husband, Donald Amaral, of Hayward, California, and Mildred Winterhalter Keppel and her husband, John Keppel, of Wheeling, West Virginia; brother-in-law, Andrew Olesko of Brownsville, Pa.; nephews and nieces: Scotty Amaral and wife, Cheryl, of Livermore, California, Marty Amaral and wife, Darlene, of San Ramon, California, Dawn Amaral DeRose and husband, John DeRose, of Castro Valley, California, Russell “Russ” Amaral of Hayward, California, John Daniel Keppel and his wife, Gail, of Montclair, New Jersey, Mark Warren Keppel of Columbus, Ohio, and Joel Kris Keppel and wife, Darlene, of Land O’Lakes, Florida, Marie Olesko Kopacko and husband, Andrew Kopacko, of Republic, Pa., Arlene Olesko Shipley and husband, Donald Shipley, of Roscoe, Pa., Kathy Olesko Dendor and husband, Paul Dendor, of Alexandria, Virginia, Albert Olesko and wife, Joanne, of Republic, Pa., James Olesko and wife, Theresa, of Adah, Pa., Andrew Olesko Jr. and wife, Joyce, of Adah, Pa., and William Olesko and wife, Marilyn, of Tower Hill One, Pa.; and special friends: Beryl Louise Gore of Connellsville, Pa., Sally Bryan of Greensburg, Pa., and Bobby Johnson of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
