Tamara Lynnette Marker of Markleysburg and Daniel Levi Komarinski of Farmington are engaged to be married. A wedding date of Oct. 18 has been set.

The bride is the daughter of Albert and Barbara Marker of Markleysburg. She is a 1998 graduate of Uniontown Area High School and a 2002 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania. She is a substitute teacher with Uniontown Area School District and is also employed in retail at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Spa.

Her fiance is the son of Daniel Komarinski of Farmington and Tammy Komarinski of Florida and the stepson of Cindy Komarinski. He is a 2001 graduate of Uniontown Area High School and is employed in the Equestrian Center at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Spa.
