Genevieve K. Kovach

Genevieve K. (Koziel) Kovach, 77, of 1839 Tiffany Drive, Warren, Ohio, died at 6:12 p.m. Sunday, August 17, 2003 in her residence following a brief illness. She was born March 6, 1926 in Crucible, Pa., daughter of John and Mary (Sherosky) Koziel.

Mrs. Kovach was a Warren resident since 1958.

She worked for Packard Electric Division of General Motors as an Inspector for 30 years and retired in October 1991.

Mrs. Kovach was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Two brothers, Edward and Stanley Koziel, a sister, Louise Koziel Dubovich, and parents preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, William Kovach, whom she married in March 1946; four sons: William Kovach Jr. and Ronald Kovach both of Warren, Ohio, Gregory Kovach and wife, Tamara, of Champion, Ohio, and Stephen Kovach and wife, Sheryl, of Avon, Ohio; two brothers: John Koziel of Uniontown, Pa., and Joseph Koziel of Youngstown, Ohio; a sister, Caroline Koziel Bernot of Uniontown, Pa.; and four grandchildren: Andrew, Melissa, Katherine and Gregory.

Visitation was held at the ROBERT H. ROBERTS CLARK MEMORIAL HOME, Warren, Ohio, on Tuesday, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday, August 20, at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Warren.

Burial followed in All Souls Cemetery.
