Stephen Kilo, 87, of Masontown, Pa., died Monday, August, 25, 2003 in Mount Macrina Manor, Uniontown, Pa. He was born May 6, 1916 in Shamrock, Pa., son of the late Joseph Kilo and Johanna Bordach Kilo.

Steve was predeceased by his parents and a brother Joseph Kilo and sister Elizabeth Kish.

He was a coal miner with U.S. Steel Corporation Robena Mines for 50 years.

He loved to play numbers and football.

Surviving is his wife Sophie Savage Kilo whom he married January 7, 1942; a daughter Christina M. wife of Charles Corcoran of Masontown; a brother Frank Kilo of Puritan, Pa. and a special niece Darlene Shine.

Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH, JR. FUNERAL HOME, Corner of Church on 7 River Avenue, Masontown, Pa., and Wednesday until 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. James F. Bump, officiating.

Interment will follow in St. George Serbian Orthodox Cemetery, Carmichaels, Pa.
