Robert S. Kisner Sr.

Robert S. Kisner Sr., 62, of Carmichaels, Pa., and formerly of Brownsville, Pa., died at 12:17 p.m., on Friday, November 28, 2003, in Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Aspinwall, Pa. He was born May 4, 1941, in Redstone Township, Fayette County, Pa., a son of the late Elmer and Rebecca (Thompson) Kisner.

Mr. Kisner graduated in 1959, from Brownsville High School and attended Waynesburg College and also Penn States University.

He was employed by PGT Trucking Company of Monaca, Pa., until his recent illness.

On December 6, 1986 he married Kathleen S. Brezovsky Kisner, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Debra McClintock of Brownsville, Pa.; a son, Robert Scott Kisner Jr. and his wife, Kimberly, of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two granddaughters: Emma Kisner and Jenna Kisner; two brothers: Elmer Kisner and his wife, Doris, and Ronald Kisner all of Uniontown, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the YOSKOVICH FUNERAL HOME, Martin J. Yoskovich Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street, Route 88, Carmichaels, Pa., on Tuesday, December 2, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will then be held. The Rev. John Duvall will officiate.

Cumberland American Legion Post 400 will accord Military Honors at the Funeral Home.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, Post Office Box 102454, Atlanta, GA 30368-2454.
