Man cited
Uniontown police cited Shawn Altman with disorderly conduct around midnight Monday for allegedly urinating in the parking lot of the A-Plus convenience store on Morgantown Street.

Man hit
City police said Tony P. Leasure reported that he was putting oil into a friend’s vehicle in the parking lot of a Morgantown Street business when a vehicle backed into him, hitting his right leg on Monday around 12:11 a.m. Police said the driver left the scene without stopping to render aid. Leasure was treated at Uniontown Hospital, said police.

Charges pending
State police said charges are pending against a 39-year-old Waynesburg man for driving while under the influence of alcohol after the vehicle he was operating crashed along Route 1011 Nov. 17 at 9:40 p.m. The man suffered minor injuries, police said.

Man dies
According to Washington County Coroner Tim Warco, Melvin R. Hughes, 50, of Finleyville was found dead from an apparent heart attack while hunting in a field along Spring Road at 7:30 a.m. Monday.

State police said no one was injured when a vehicle driven by Summerlyn Brown, 18, crashed along Route 43 Sunday at 1:46 a.m.

Randall Couger Jr., 23, of Hopwood told state police that someone stole his radiator from his residence Saturday.

Window smashed
According to state police someone known to Kenneth DeLorenzo, 44, of Uniontown smashed the living room window of his Hickory Road residence Sunday at 1:40 p.m.
South Union Twp.
Windshield broken
Samantha Gaylor, 27, of Uniontown told state police that someone smashed the windshield of her vehicle as it was parked at a residence along Coal Lick Run Street between 11 p.m. Saturday and 5 a.m. Sunday.
