4-H Livestock Scholarships awarded to 14 members

Fayette County 4-H Livestock scholarships were awarded recently to 14 Livestock Club members. They are (from left) Frank Mutansky of Uniontown, Emily Nalavenko of Smock, Elliott Patterson of Chestnut Ridge, Betsy Dennis of Farmington; and Megan Kozak of Smithfield. Those not shown are Jeffrey Ansell of Scottdale, John Black of Smithfield, Amy Bozek of Smock, Rebecca Grimm of Indian Head, Christopher Petruska of Smock, Joshua Poole of Connellsville, Andrea Puskar of Perryopolis, Mitchell Savage of Farmington, and Angela Stump of Uniontown. William F. Gallagher, Penn State Extension Agent, said the 4-H Livestock Scholarship was founded in 1980 to help defray the cost of high education. To date, more than $141,585. has been awarded to 223 4-H’ers.
