Benefit concert set The Povertyneck Hillbillies will play at Uniontown High School at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

The doors open at 6:30 p.m., and there is a small admission charge. The concert will benefit a Christmas party held by the Autism Unit of Alliance Health Wraparound and WJS Psychological.

Alliance Health Wraparound and WJS Psychological are agencies that provide services for children with social and emotional behaviors, as well as autism and special needs in Fayette, Greene Washington and Westmoreland counties.

Dance planned

Connellsville American Legion Post 301 will hold a 911 Scholarship Fund Dance, on Saturday at its facility. Music to be provided by D.J. Mike. Food will be available for purchase. There is no cover charge. All proceeds go to 911 Scholarship Fund awarded by the American Legion.
