John F. Rulli
John Franklin Rulli, 55, of Uniontown, Pa., formerly of Connellsville, Pa., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, in Brownsville General Hospital. He was born April 8, 1948, in Connellsville, a son of Fred “Fritz” Rulli of Connellsville, and the late Georgetta Rulli.
John was a Catholic by faith, and a 1966 graduate of Father Geibel High School. He then attended the University of Scranton in Scranton, Pa., and Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pa. He was very creative and expressed his feelings in his paintings and in poetry he composed.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his stepmother, Mikee Rulli of Connellsville; four sisters, Carole Jazbec and husband, Bill, Yvonne Butler and husband, John, Michelle Hall and Christian Sohonage and husband, Kirk; two brothers, Fred Rulli and wife, Kathy and Ralph Rulli and wife, Diane; many nieces and nephews; and his extended family, Patrick Halfhill, Terry Halfhill and Tyrone Halfhill.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Rulli.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10 a.m., in St. Rita R.C. Church, with the Rev. Fr. Frank Lesniowski as celebrant.
Everyone is to go directly to the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 123 South First St., West Side, Connellsville.
