Man charged
Tobias Mitchell, 22, of Brownsville was charged with simple assault after he allegedly grabbed Jessica Moore, 20, of Brownsville, pushed her against a wall and slammed her to the floor at least twice Tuesday evening at Hunters Ridge apartment complex, state police said.
Moore was treated at Brownsville General Hospital, while Mitchell was arraigned at the office of District Justice Jesse Cramer and released on $500 unsecured bond.

Man not injured
State police said Brian Markwood of Uniontown was not injured in a one-vehicle accident on Smithfield-Masontown Road at 8:37 p.m. Monday.

Reward offered
State police said someone damaged an Allegheny Power utility line along Laurelview Drive Oct. 17 around 5 p.m. and caused the line to burn and fall to the ground. The fallen lines damaged a distribution box owned by Verizon. Allegheny Power has offered a monetary award for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those who were involved in this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-439-7111.

A man driving an older model Ford pick up truck left the Exxon at 215 W. Main St. without paying for $23 in gas at 3:05 p.m. Tuesday, city police said.

Decorations stolen
A sled and reindeer were stolen from the front yard of John Martinelli’s 410 Braddock Ave. home Monday night or early Tuesday, city police said.

A box trailer owned by Christopher Quarrick, 43, of Uniontown was stolen from 430 Bute Road between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Nov. 24, state police said.

A purse owned by Kathryn E. Fullerton, 31, of Fairchance was stolen from Sweet Pea’s Food Market, 732 Morgantown Road, at 2:40 p.m. Tuesday, state police said.

A screen window on a rear door of Ashley Boone’s residence was damaged with a rock at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, state police said.

Car accident
City police said Virgil Krepps, 67, of 132 Walnut St. may have suffered a mini-stroke before he struck a tree along West Berkeley Street at 5 a.m. Thursday.
He was transported to Uniontown Hospital were he was in stable condition.

Girl missing
City police said Leegina Ford, 17, of 211 Lenox St. was reported missing Wednesday morning by her mother Regina Ford.
She told police that her daughter was last seen on Nov. 30 at the corner of Stewart Avenue and Jefferson Street on her way to church and that she called home Monday, but didn’t say where she was.
A description of the girl was not available.

One-vehicle accident
Jared Naughton, 24, of 49 E. Highland Ave., Uniontown, was arrested for driving under the influence following a one-vehicle accident Dec. 1 at 4:15 a.m. at the intersection of Union Street and Highland Avenue, city police said. Naughton allegedly struck a utility pole and fence and was taken to Uniontown Hospital for treatment, where he was arrested.

Stanley Martin Zombeck, 43, of 529 N. Sixth St., Clairton, was arrested for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after an incident at the Highland House on Main Street at 8:57 p.m. Monday, said city police. He was allegedly yelling and slamming his hands on the chairs and tables at the bar.
