Alberta “Bert” Staley
Alberta “Bert” (Staley) Staley, age 84, of Granville, Coal Center, Pa., died at 9:45 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2003 in her home.
She was born May 24, 1919 in Malden, Brownsville, Pa., a daughter of Hugh C. Staley and Martha Santee Staley.
Mrs. Staley was a Homemaker who dedicated her life to taking care of her Family.
On October 31, 1939 she married Wilbur “Webb” Staley. He died July 2, 1991.
Also deceased are five Brothers, Calvin, Jess, Fred, Ed and Playford Staley, Sisters, Anna Elliott and Lucy Weaver, and Parents.
Surviving are one Daughter, Shirley Ann Staley, and one Son, Wilbur “Sonny” Staley Jr. and his wife Wanda all of Granville, Coal Center, Pa.; three Grandchildren: Sharon King of West Brownsville, Pa., Justin Staley and Duane Staley both of Coal Center, Pa.; one Great Grandson, Aaron King; several Nieces and Nephews.
Friends will be received in the JOHN B. GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, Pa., today from Noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where Services will be held Monday, December 8, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Barry Mohney officiating.
Interment will follow in Taylor Cemetery, West Pike Run Township, Brownsville, Pa.
