Donald L. Baker, 79, of Carmichaels, Pa., who was born in Oil City, Pa., retired Foreman from Allegheny Power who served in the United States Navy during World War II, died at 1:15 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2003 in his home. He is survived by two daughters: Kathy Baker Bregan of Carmichaels, Pa., and Diane Baker Burgess of Rosemont, Minnesota; grandchildren: Stanley Batis, Amanda Batis, Trisha Skofranick, Brian Burgess, Max Bregan; sisters: Marion Baker Vandall of Oil City, Pa., and Helen Baker Maglietta of Claysville, Pa.; and brother, Roy Baker of Avella, Pa.

Mr. Baker donated his body to medical research. Arrangements are under direction of the Paul Michael Lesako Funeral Home Inc., Paul M. Lesako, Funeral Director, 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, Pa.
