Nancy Show Abbey
Nancy J. Show Abbey, 71, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at her home.
She was born December 15, 1931 in Uniontown, Pa., daughter of Orangie Show and Myra Hayden Show.
She was predeceased by her husband, Cecil M. Abbey in 1986, three sisters, Betty Gallo, Jean Haney, Helen Freiberg, two brothers, Buckley Show, Thomas Show, and parents.
Surviving are eight Children: William Abbey and wife Candy of Uniontown, Pa., Debra Hranics and husband Jeff of McKeesport, Pa., Joseph Abbey of Uniontown, Myra Cross and husband William of Florida, Robert Abbey and wife Virginia of Uniontown, Nancy Frey and husband Keith of Uniontown, Melva Corteal and husband Douglas of Connellsville, Pa., Beverly Myers and husband Charles of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother and two sisters: William Show and wife Marcella of Hillsboro, Ohio, Yvonne White and husband Jerald and Jackie Kolar all of Uniontown; a brother-in-law, Joseph Abbey and wife Mildred of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and two sisters-in-law: Dolores Savage and husband Donald of Hopwood, Pa., and special sister-in-law Alberta Abbey of Hopwood.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, December 8, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with Pastor Dale Redick officiating.
Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Hopwood, Pa.
Visitation was also held Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.
