Doody-Franczyk
Lurea Joan Franczyk and Robert Hendricks Doody Jr. were united in marriage on Oct. 18 at Whyel Chapel at Jumonville. The bride is the daughter of Elizabeth J. Quintana of Wind Ridge, and the late Ronald J. Franczyk of Uniontown.
The bridegroom is the son of Robert H. Doody and Dolores M. Doody of Waynesburg.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Summit Inn Resort, Farmington.
Maid of honor was Sundeigh H. Plesko, sister of the bride. Attendants were Michelle Vicinelley, Kelly Wilczynski, Donna Koval, Traci Emery and Jacquelyn Cavey. Flower girl was Carissa Doody.
Best man was Joe Doody, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Jon Tustin, Tim Davis, Joe Puglia, Tim Brennan, Joe Rini, Roger Evans, Andre Quintana, and T.R. Mahle.
The bride is a chemistry professor at Waynesburg College.
The bridegroom is a corrections officer at SCI Greene.
The couple resides in Waynesburg.
