Florence (Betler) Harrison, 78, of California, Pa., died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003. She was born March 4, 1925, in Dunlevy, Pa., a daughter of the late Henry Fred and Anna (McMillan) Betler.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of California, and various Bible Studies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Harrison in 1979; brother, Daren F. Betler; a niece, Elvira Rodgers Fitzgerald; and a nephew, Keith W. Betler.

Left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Clark D. and Sally Harrison of Murrysville, Pa.; a granddaughter, Hayley Harrison O’Connor and husband, Timothy of Murrysville, Pa.; a sister, Betty Betler Rodgers of Corning, N.Y.; a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Kay Betler of Danville, Ill.; sisters-in-law, Cora Lee Betler of Largo, Fla., and Pauline Vitchoff of California, Pa.; nieces, Patricia Youchah, Kara Reber, Kendra Vanso and Lorraine Vitchoff; and nephews, Harris Rodgers Jr., Bruce R. Betler, Pat Vitchoff and Dan Vitchoff.

Friends will be received for funeral services in the First Presbyterian Church of California, on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2003, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Paul Min officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth St., California, Pa.
