HOLY ROSARY CHURCH, Republic, will hold a holiday shopping extravaganza Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. There is no admission charge. Crafts, food, bake sale, prizes and various vendors will be available. SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENT will hold an old-fashioned buckwheat cakes, pancakes and sausage brunch from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Mill Run fire hall. Cost is $6 per person for all you can eat.

ASBURY UNITED METHODIST WOMEN will fill cookie and fruit trays for Asbury shut-ins at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Trays will be delivered Saturday and Sunday.
