Theft/drug arrest
A Searights man has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and theft following an incident at the Grindstone Foodland, Route 40, on Dec. 2.
According to state police, Antwoin Ebore, 26, of 504 Searights, Uniontown, was found in possession of five small individually wrapped items that appeared to be crack cocaine when he was apprehended by police for shoplifting.
Police alleged Ebore had removed a bottle of cough medicine from its box at the grocery store and put it in his pocket. Police said he then went to the counter to purchase cigarettes.
The incident occurred around 1:20 p.m.

Citations filed
Sandra Rae Tissue, 42, of Dunbar and Michael Andrew Geisler, 33, of Connellsville were cited for stealing $37.97 worth of Christmas decorations from Pechin Shopping Village around 1 p.m. Tuesday, state police said.

No one injured
No one was injured in a one-vehicle crash along Route 88 near Beagle Club Road around 9:58 a.m. Dec. 3, state police said.
The vehicle operator was Jeffrey Stokes, 44, of Brownsville and his passengers were Tia Lewis, 37, of Hiller and Kermith Sonnier Jr., 39, of Brownsville, police said.
THe driver and passengers were all were wearing their seatbelts, according to police.

Burglary
State police said someone stole 15 Stihl brand chain saws from Four Seasons Lawn and Garden on Rolling Meadows Road
Police said the burglary occurred when someone threw a large piece of cement through the front glass door to gain entry around 6 p.m. Dec. 4.

Charge withdrawn
State police said they withdrew a charge of criminal mischief against Daniel Dillow after a victim informed police that she was mistaken in stating that Dillow was to blame for a crime committed in the borough on Oct. 4.
